How to book

  1. Share your load – pickup and drop city, type of goods, approximate weight or number of cartons, and date.
  2. Get a clear price – we suggest the right vehicle for your shipment and send the rate on WhatsApp.
  3. Loading – the truck reaches on time; goods are loaded, covered or sealed, and the bilty / receipt is issued.
  4. Tracking and delivery – you get the driver’s contact and updates until the goods are unloaded and signed for.

To book, call us or send a WhatsApp message with your pickup city, drop city, type of goods and date. You get a clear price before the truck is sent.

Why choose GoodsTransport.pk

  • Every truck size in one place – from a Suzuki pickup to 40 ft containers, low beds and reefers.
  • 25 cities, 40 main routes – local, intercity and port cargo across Pakistan.
  • Clear pricing – the rate is agreed before loading; no surprise charges on arrival.
  • Verified drivers and vehicles – documents and vehicle condition checked before booking.
  • Safe loading – tarpaulin, lashing straps and sealed containers for sensitive goods.
  • Updates on WhatsApp – driver contact and delivery confirmation (POD).

Open trucks are covered with tarpaulin and every load is tied with straps or chains. Sealed containers are locked at loading and opened only at delivery, so the goods stay dry and untouched.

Each booking has a bilty or delivery receipt listing the goods, number of packages and destination. Transit insurance can be arranged on request for high-value cargo – read our damage and claim policy.

Documents to keep with the load

Every load should travel with a sales invoice or delivery challan that lists the goods, quantity and value. Police and excise checkposts on highways ask for it, and it is also the base for any insurance claim.

At booking we issue a bilty (goods receipt) with sender, receiver, number of packages, weight and destination. Keep a photo of it. For import and export containers, the GD, delivery order and port gate pass are also needed.

Over-size machinery may need a road permit and escort, which we arrange in advance. For regular company shipments we can share monthly statements and proof-of-delivery (POD) records for your accounts team.

Open truck or closed container?

Choose the vehicle by both weight and volume. Light but bulky goods such as foam, cartons or furniture fill a truck before they reach its weight limit, while steel or cement reaches the weight limit long before the truck looks full.

Open trucks such as the Shehzore, Mazda and flatbed are cheaper and easy to load from the side, but the cargo is covered only by tarpaulin. Closed containers are sealed and better for electronics, garments, food and anything that must stay dry.

If you are not sure, send a photo or a rough list of the goods on WhatsApp. We suggest the smallest vehicle that carries the load safely, so you do not pay for empty space.

Mistakes that increase transport cost

The most common mistake is giving the wrong weight or size. If the goods do not fit, a second vehicle is needed at short notice, which costs more than booking the right size in the first place.

Not mentioning extra pickup or drop points, narrow streets or upper-floor loading also causes surprises on the day. Share these details at booking and they are included in the agreed price.

Finally, booking at the last minute in peak season – before Eid, at harvest time or at month-end – means fewer trucks and higher rates. Booking a day or two earlier, or choosing a return-load truck, usually saves money.

How to pack and prepare your goods

Good packing is the cheapest insurance. Put small items in strong cartons and fill empty space so nothing moves inside. Wrap glass, electronics and furniture corners with bubble wrap or foam sheets, and mark those cartons “Fragile” and “This side up” on two sides.

For factory goods, stack cartons on pallets and stretch-wrap them so labour can load faster with a forklift. Write the receiver name, city and number of packages on every carton or bale – this matches the bilty and makes counting at delivery quick.

Keep liquids, chemicals and food apart from other cargo, and tell us about anything heavy, long or temperature-sensitive before booking, so the right vehicle and loading equipment are sent.
